Bhutan is a country in the Eastern Himalayas, landlocked between China and India. The country has been heavily influenced by Tibetan culture and Buddhism.

 

This series is the result of a work trip for the FAO - Food and agriculture organization, in 2011. The aim was to document a series of projects aimed at improving the management of sustainable natural resources, in particular the agricultural land and water supply. The main goal was to monitor and protect watersheds and to better understand the causes for landslides.
